John Jelly has worked in the
profession since 1968 and is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered
Surveyors.
His experience over the years has
covered a number of industries some of which are detailed below.
 | New Billingsgate Fish Market:
John Jelly was the project surveyor responsible for looking after the interests of a
conglomerate Client made up of the City of London, the Fish Merchants Association, and the
London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Billingsgate Fish market moved from the City of
London to the Isle of Dogs in 1980. The project was a major development very much in the
public eye. It was the first major project on the Isle of Dogs and an act of parliament
had to be passed to move the market from the City to the new location.

 | The Printing Industry: As an
Associate Partner in a quantity surveying practice in Wimbledon, John Jelly was
responsible for looking after the interests of BPCC between the years of 1982 to
1986. He reported directly to the Groups Property Manager. During this
time he assisted in various major upgrades of printing plant and machinery in a number of
locations throughout the country. He was also involved in refurbishment works
within the Mirror Building for the Mirror Group.

1988, John Jelly was the project surveyor responsible for looking after the interests of

 | The Entertainment Industry:
In 1990, John Jelly was the project surveyor responsible for looking after the interests
of Dolby Laboratories Incorporated in the construction of their new international head
office and laboratory complex. The project involved the construction of an underground
laboratory requiring the very highest of standards in sound insulation.The Entertainment Industry:

 | Duncan Mountford,
Associate Partner
Duncan Mountford has been an
Associate Partner at Jelly Associates since 1998. His role as Quantity Surveyor and
Project Manager involves various industrial projects in London and the South East varying
from £50,000 to £3,000,000.
Prior to joining Jelly Associates,
Duncan Mountford gained several years experience working within the City of London and the
South East, detailed below.

Administrator on a number of housing developments within the London area.

Duncan Mountford has a BSc degree with Honours in
Quantity Surveying, and became an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered
Surveyors in 1993. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders.

 | Valerie Cooper, Practice Manager |
Valerie Cooper has been with Jelly Associates since
1998. Valerie's role involves IT and marketing including internet management,
together with providing background support to the Partners and managing the office.
Valerie comes from a PR background, working within
companies ranging from a small business servicing the stainless steel industry to the head
office of a large multinational PLC.
Valerie also spent a number of years at the
Confederation of British Industry providing support to marketing and international
committees involving senior directors of UK industry.
